ASRC Federal has named George Morrow vice president of space strategy. Morrow will provide strategic leadership to deepen customer relationships across government agencies and expand ASRC Federal’s space-related capabilities to adjacent markets.

Prior to joining ASRC Federal, Morrow most recently served as the acting center director for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center. Throughout his 37-year career in the space industry, he has served in a variety of senior leadership positions including NASA Goddard deputy center director from 2015 to 2019 and as both director and deputy director of the Flight Projects Directorate at Goddard where he was responsible for the formulation, implementation operation, and day-to-day management of the more than 40 space and Earth Science missions.
Morrow was the recipient of the Presidential Rank Award of Meritorious Executive in both 2007 and 2014. He was also awarded the NASA Exceptional Service Medal in 1994, the NASA Outstanding Leadership Medal in 2006, and the NASA Distinguished Service Medal in 2019. Morrow holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in engineering administration from George Washington University.
