The General Services Administration’s (GSA) has selected ASRC Federal Space & Defense subsidiary (AS&D) to prime six pools of its multiple-award ASTRO indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The ten-year effort, spearheaded by GSA’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), encompasses services related to manned, unmanned and optionally manned platforms and robotics for the Department of Defense.

ASRC Federal Space & Defense won each of the six individual contract pools it pursued, including space, maritime, ground, systems integration and development, research and development, and support services. Through these contract pools, AS&D will support the Department of Defense in its all-domain efforts, with the intention to expand services in support of other federal civilian agencies during the ten-year contract period.

“ASRC Federal is excited to expand our long-standing partnership with the DoD as an awardee under the GSA’s ASTRO contract vehicle,” said Jennifer Felix, president and CEO of ASRC Federal. “Our experienced and mission-driven team will be eligible to provide systems integration and development, research and development, and support services for the Department and its military personnel in their efforts across all-domains, including space, maritime and ground.”

FEDSIM selected ASRC Federal based on its ongoing commitment to supporting the government’s defense efforts, and its capabilities in mission support. As the top provider of assisted acquisition services for federal agencies, FEDSIM provides acquisition, financial and project management for the full acquisition lifecycle.
