During Mental Health Awareness Month this past May, ASRC Federal employees participated in a number of company-wide activities, including a donation of $10K to Hope For The Warriors (HOPE). HOPE, which was founded by military families, provides resources and services promoting well-being, financial stability, and community connection for post-9/11 service members, veterans, and military families nationwide.

“Embracing the veteran community and supporting our country’s service members is an important priority for us,” said ASRC Federal president & CEO Jennifer Felix. “Nearly 20 percent of our workforce have a military affiliation, and we value them for their sacrifices on behalf of our nation and contributions to our organization and our federal customers.”

HOPE has multiple programs that aid post-9/11 service members in transition to civilian life such as Resilient American training for organizations, which are led by licensed clinical social workers, the Resilient Warrior six-week virtual course that promotes mental health and teaches stress management specifically for veterans, and partnerships with companies like ASRC Federal.

“ASRC Federal is taking on mental health and directly providing support via Hope For The Warriors,” said Robin Kelleher, president and CEO of HOPE. “Our partnership allows HOPE to train business professionals that support veterans and our Warriors in strategies that our licensed clinical social workers champion each day. We are grateful for the impact ASRC Federal has in the nationwide discussion of mental health and providing a solution with HOPE.”
