ASRC Federal is proud to support NASA and industry partners building the Orion Vehicle for NASA’s Next Moon Mission. Our teams provide technical services and operation support to human spacecraft assembly, test, integration, and production within the Operations and Checkout facility and other facilities near Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, Florida.

We’re hiring for a variety of onsite positions and actively seeking candidates with the following backgrounds and skillsets:

Spacecraft Technicians

HIRING ALL LEVELS  mechanical/electromechanical engineering and facilities professionals to help construct, test, and assemble Orion spacecraft components and associated ground support equipment.

NDE Quality Inspectors

Seeking experienced NAS410 professionals to ensure spacecraft product quality and acceptance requirements are met and perform non-destructive engineering evaluations and reporting.

Facilities O&M Technicians

Seeking facilities management professionals with experience maintaining, testing, and assembling spacecraft and associated ground equipment. Strong background in facility electrical systems and Master Electrician certification preferred.

Harness Fabrication Technicians

Seeking mechanical technicians to help fabricate flight and non-flight wire harness assemblies including power, RF, high speed data, thermal, network, thermocouple, fiber optic and related functional testing.

Thermal Protection System (TPS) Technicians

Seeking experienced Aerospace Thermal Protection System (TPS) technicians to support TPS process validations, TPS bonding and production operations supporting the Orion MPCV Spacecraft.

Orion Weld Technicians

Seeking spacecraft welders to construct the thermal heat shield covering the Orion spacecraft. Strong background performing Orbital Arc Welding (OAW), working with metrology equipment and safely bonding a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials, preferred.
