“I take a lot of pride in the fact that our work directly contributes to the safety of the flying public. We help maintain the systems that allow air traffic controllers and pilots to communicate with each other. We might be a small group, but we touch the lives of approximately 2.9 million people daily.”

ASRC Federal Team Recognized For Longstanding Service & Dedication to FAA Mission

In a ceremony hosted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October 2023, over 100 ASRC Federal employees were honored for their integral role in ensuring the safety of air travel. With service anniversaries spanning from 5 to over 25 years, our employees provide premier level Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for National Airspace System (NAS) systems and services teams, which are part of the FAA’s National Airway Systems Engineering (NASE).

NASE is a national organization that provides second-level engineering support that directly affects the safety of the flying public. The group is primarily based at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, Okla., and the National Weather Service’s Radar Operation Center in Norman, Okla., and provides engineering support to the FAA’s NAS, which includes working in all 50 states, U.S. territories and in other countries.
