Delivering Cost Efficiencies to the U.S. Air Force

On the Launch System Mission Assurance (LSMA) Program, ASRC Federal provided technical assistance to the U.S. Air Force on their legacy ICBM solid-rocket motors in storage.

  • Identified and addressed a critical flaw in steering on the mission launch vehicle.
  • Recommended a two-pronged approach to solve the identified flaw in steering in order to maintain the initial launch date and achieve mission success.
  • The solution helped the U.S. Air Force realize significant cost savings by isolating the steering flaw and exonerating the entire missile fleet.
